Addai improving Though he was able to make some sharp cuts and turns in LSU's 40-7 win Saturday at Ole Miss, Addai said the ankle injury that has bothered him since the Tigers' game Oct. 29 with North Texas still isn't 100 percent. "About 80 percent," Addai said. "But I'm confident that I can go where I want to go. Each day, each week, I'm getting better." Addai had 14 carries for a game-high 70 yards against Ole Miss, including a juking 18-yard run around right end that had him stutter stepping all the way to the sideline. "When I run it doesn't hurt," Addai said. "It's when somebody grabs it and twists it that it hurts." Two weeks ago against Alabama, a Crimson Tide player told Addai he should get his bum ankle out of the game. Addai said he thought the player wasn't trying to threaten him, but actually was looking out for him. "He told me I needed to get off the field," Addai said. "I just walked off the field because it was fourth down. I couldn't go any more anyway." Strategery? or genuine niceness? Ill take niceness.
