Call this a crazy idea, but i had to write it down. Mccain and Bush have both been in LA the last two weeks and Jindal is supposed to be on Leno tonight.

Think he would make a good ticket? Am I just losing my mind due to lack of sleep?

Have to agree with the others, too young, and IMO too conservative for JM, unless it was an effort to try and mend some fences with the party after all the shiftyness, and co sponsoring of bills with Ted "I'm a murderer" Kennedy. Oh wait. I have to go find a link .. but you all know what I'm talking about.:lol:

It would be typical. We finally get something promising, and overall good, and some yahoo from out of state walks in and takes it away from us.

It sounds like he isn't interested at all about a possible VP, but couldn't you see him as a presidential candidate in the future?

He's only 36. There is plenty of time for Jindal. He has to serve as governor and be successful to have any hope of moving up.

yup, he's on the right career path. Served in the legislative branch. Now governor.

A successfull couple of terms as governor, I could see him being a national player.

He won't be VP, but not because he couldn't if he really wanted it. I just don't think he wants to. That can be career suicide. He will go for the top spot by 2020 and, depending on how it falls out, probably by 2016, book it.
