Maybe too soon. Does anyone think he would entertain the idea or does he seem like a 2016 guy? It seems inevitable that he will be on the national stage one day.
We'll see. It's still too early. I just hope to God that Palin won't get another look for a while. And if I hear "You betcha," or "Joe six pack," or "Joe the plumber" one more time, I'll puke.
Jindal has already said that he will run for another term as gov and I think for him to WIN the presidency he will need 2 terms under his belt!
I dont think he will do anything in the near future either. I asked this question because it was one asked on TV a minute ago. He's pretty young and I am not sure if he would want to run against Obama after his first term anyways.
I agree. Americans like to vote for former/present governor presidential candidates. (Carter, Reagan, Clinton, Bush jr.) This year, there weren't any presidential candidates who were governors, and if there were, I believe they would be favored. It would be smart for him to stay and prove he can actually govern. However, Bush was elected twice and has been absolutely abysmal (and detrimental to the Republican Party), and Obama, who hasn't proven anything, still gets in. So experience may not matter any more.
I couldnt hear all of it or tell if they were being serious but FN said Jindal was heading to Iowa later this month? I figured they were kidding.
Fox News just said to get on the Jindal express. They also mentioned that he's scheduled to be in Iowa next month. Now why would he be in Iowa? To get known of course. Geaux Jindal! He's our Indian American Reagan.
870 was talking about this last month when it came out how much traveling he has been doing. Its 2 fold 1. To get his name out there for the future! 2. To get other states and other politcans to look and see that this isnt the same ole Louisiana anymore.
