according to shreveport times, jimbo says "no" to Saban.:hihi::rofl::rofl: http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007301070005 I am a new member, and this is my first post. I sure hope it's true. It would make my day.
Welcome to the forum... I'm sure that sudden Louisville opening is looming large in Jimbo's mind right about now...
I just moved to Florida, and I talked to a FSU fan and they said the talks with Jimbo are back on as of today.
What? You've left Austin? What happened? Deceks (for those that don't know him -- among the five best posters here and an Auburn guy...I know, it's shocking) mentioned this earlier today. I'm too lazy to find his post, but he essentially said that the talks with Jimbo have resumed AND he'll get less money than he would have as of Friday. Don't shoot the messenger (unless you think the messenger is Deceks and not NLMD.)
Close, but not exactly right... Tirk, that picture is hilarious!! :hihi: Muschamp was never even a thought. DC was announced days ago... As I mentioned in another thread, the sticking point was with the buyout. Fisher didn't like it, said he would consider it hunting over the weekend... Saban withdrew the offer...semantics, I know... There are two names out there right now for the position...the way I understand it is the OC/QB coach is the only position we don't have pretty much locked down.
