The run calls don't bother me as much as the completed pass SHORT of the TD does. That ball should have been in the endzone. Still, close game. No complaints.

What the hell was up with putting Russell under center at the 14 with 14 secs left? And then have 3 guys line up in the backfield? The shotgun formation would have given 3 cracks at the end zone.
The opening drive of the 3rd quarter Jimbo should have used Flynn out of the shotgun for one series. The middle was wide open on pass plays so Flynn could have run shotgun draws with his speed it would be very effective. Jamarcus could have watched a series which also would have helped him.

My fears came true concerning the O-line. They made no running lanes at all. Plus I don't know why they even put JV in, AB couldn't do anything, why not put in CS or KW. With that said, yes the play calling sucked. How many different looks did they give AU on pass plays? 3? How many times did they put 3 WR stacked at the end of the line of scrimmage. Why didn't they run any end arounds with Trindon like we did the 1st 2 games with much success. AU sure ran that play on us 5 times, faking 4 and running the end around 1 time. The deep ball never happened till the final 2 drives. The deep ball should've been thrown some in the 1st half. After 2 series of no run offense, throw it deep, put in another RB to jump start something. Yes the refs screwed us on 3 plays that were very critical plays. Hester fumble, late hits out of bounds, pass interfernce before the ball was tipped, etc etc. But LSU shouldn't have been in that position to begin with late in the game. JR wasn't himself. He didn't fire the ball when he should have and the sack he took with 30+ secs left was just ridiculous.
