its very obvious when we try to run the ball, especially up the middle. spread it out and let the athletes play. Give JR some time to read the defense and sling it. Auburn has it figured out, they spread us out and run...why can't we wake up and do that?!!! Secondly, Alley and JV aren't going to get it done. There hesitate too much. Hester, i love him, but he isn't the answer at RB. Play the freshman. Great game by the Tigers. Sure JR made some mistakes (freshman type) but the coaches didn't help us on on O. Nice job by the D.
Does anyone understand the obvious run up the middle play on short yardage that LSU continues to run without success? 4 wideouts, 1 RB....first down every damn time...book it

Jimbo has always been a conservative playcaller. It was obvious early on we were going to struggle running the ball ... obvious to everyone but Jimbo. The playcalling that really chapped my butt was the 2nd to last series of the game. We passed the ball downfield to inside the 35. Then we run on 1st and 2nd down, as if we are tyring to milk the clock to make sure Auburn won't have much time left after we score. Only problem was we didn't score...
