MFn GIMP, I'm with you! Amen brother, Happy Easter. Thanking of my Baby girl in the hospital and Terri and her family. These are my prayers everyday for the past few weeks and this weekend. Everyone, be thankful for what you have because there are less fortunate people out there!
SDM, everything will work out according to Gods plan. My little sister was born 3 months early and had to stay in ICU for a couple months before my parents got to take her home. When she got home she had to be on a heart monitor and my parents had to wake her up every couple hours at night to make sure everything was alright. Today she is a healthy 12 year old girl who has overcome all of the problems she had as an infant. I'll keep praying for you and your family SDM and hope everything with your little girl gets better.
Thank You, I'm leaving it in Gods hands, their is nothing more I can do! My little girl has down syndrome and pulmonary hypertension. Thought I'd share a quote from the Bible. Isaiah 40 versus 29-31 He giveth power to the faint and to them that have no might, he increasive strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall. But they that wait upon the lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint. Amen
Well... Since we are on the subject. Why did Jesus have to be crucified? I thought god was omnipotent. You'd think he could save us just because he choses to. I don't see why he had to send his son down to die for us. The wife of a priest was unable to answer this question for me, so I'm curious what answers ya'll might have.
It's like the drill sergeant who took the private behind the barracks and beat him to within an inch of his life. At the court-martial, his attorney asked him why he did it. The Sergeant replied: "I had to put it in terms he would understand."
