Per Dandy Don, per Nola.com Interesting......everyone's thoughts? http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2013/08/lsus_jeremy_hill_to_meet_with.html
His lawyer asking to move up the date seems like he thinks that the prospects are good and he can get Hill into August camp, whether he is looking at game suspensions or not.
Looks like both sides have agreed to have the hearing today. We should hear something soon and then Miles will step in.
Per Shea Dixon on 247, No jail time and extention on probation of 2 years plus 40 hours of community service. Curfew still in place but football activites allowed.
That's it? Good lord, Hill just stepped right over that big ole cottonmouth. I never thought he'd go to jail, and extending probation for another two years is the max the judge could have extended it, but only 40 hours of community service and no anger management, AA, substance abuse evaluation, etc etc?
He'll be back sooner rather than later is what I'm guessing, I'm sure Miles will run him into the ground and when he does play he'll be in tip top shape.....I hope he walks the straight line and has a successful career.
With the Jenny Football saga monopolizing the sports network coverage, now would be the perfect opportunity for Les to reinstate him without getting too much bad pub!
I agree. I don't see how after all the media attention he could not be punished with a little suspension just to make an example to other players. I bet he will be real familiar with the seating in TIGER STADIUM!
