Maybe you need to understand the rules a little better. As soon as JJ'S looked up the defender was in his face... He was in the tackle box so unless he threw the ball in the field of play(which could have been picked off) the outcome if that play didn't have many options.. Oline blocks like they should have and there's no issue, but I'm sure that's JJ's fault too..
JJ has always been able to throw the long ball. He's just always lacked the short and mid range ball. Good news is that he appeared to be able to put the touch needed on the shorter balls tonight too Edit:Well he was able to throw the longball last season too, I think I remember him struggling with it the year before
You don't have to pass much to beat bama. You have to run the option. A division 2 team ran for over 300 yards on them today. We ran it a little, with some success, if we play them again, we run it a lot.
JJ didn't get enough pass attempts before the Bama game, and that was unfortunate as it hurt our offense to keep Bama off balance. JJ still did just enough to get us 6 points (and the FG in OT with that fantastic option run to Ford). If this JJ were on that field in Alabama, that game would not have been that close.
You realize that JJ doesn't play on defense, right? And bama has a much better OL than Arky, yet we still abused AJ. First of all, that's not true. Arky's dline is soft and we'll jam it down their throats all game long and control the clock. Secondly, what has JJ done this year that has convinced you there's no chance he'll be productive against Arky? Not really. You saw what happened when they played a physical team this year. One-trick pony, just like Ok St. You have to be joking. Even if they are (they're not), why would they nave been keeping him out if he's good to go? We know. Not even actual completed downfield passes. You require more proof.
stiszle only speaks in superlatives. even against a terrible ole miss team when JJ throws 8 passes: stislte: "best I have ever seen"
I have come to the realization that JJ is being prepped for the Arky game. They struggle with the run, and JJ can really keep them off balance. How great will it be if we win to be able to look at both QB's and see how it took BOTH to navigate one of the toughest roads to a NC EVER! :geauxtige
obviously his career has not been great at LSU, so it's all very relative but this was the most confident I have ever seen him and the most accurate, even if it was only 8 passes and I have never seen him complete that little floating pass that he needed to take something off the ball, that is something he has never been able to do and he stood strong in the pocket with someone bearing down on him and threw a strike to Shepard in the endzone don't be shy martin, I know it's rare you actually ever have insight into anything, but give it a try
i know dude, superlatives are your thing. nothing is ever more or better. always most or best. i dunno much about football i just like the way you use superlatives. its the best.
