Fitzgerald should've won the Hesiman, he was without a doubt the best player in college football this year. And why was Manning in NY, while Matt Leinart and Ben Roethlisberger were watching the show on TV?

Well we are unsure about some of the computer rankings. New York Times has Carlise Holliday of Notre Dame #1 well because he is from Notre Dame. I mean if you are from Notre Dame you are twice the man of anyone else:sob:

As great a player as Fitzgerald is White threw for over 3700 yards with 40 TDs and only 8 interceptions while having to learn to become a true pocket passer after blowing out both knees. He did it for a team ranked #1 most of the season. Other receivers who have won the Heisman in the past have also run back kicks or played defense. Johnny Rodgers, Tim Brown, Charles Woodson, ect. White deserves it. If the Biletnikoff Trophy for best receiver hasn't already been given out it will surely go to Fitzgerald. While they say that the Heisman is for being the best football player in college football in reality it almost always goes to a QB or a running back. The best football player may well be Chad Lavalais. Lavalais has won the Outland Trophy which is the lineman's version of the Heisman.

Sets up a much nicer stage for our defense. Coming into this showdown, at home in the dome, as an underdog, with the chance to take out the Heisman trophy winner, this Tiger team will be sky high when they take the field.

Yeah, I'm thinking that that was just what LSU wanted... I wonder if a Heisman Trophy fits well in a persons a$$?

I think Galley from Iowa won the Outland.

Did White hurt his elbow in the KSU game?

Let me be the first Sooner to say White places more value on the National Title than he does the Heisman. If we are to find out how well it fits up a person's a$$, it willbe Jason that is doing the shoving!

Good luck all! Look forward to a great game!
