Well, we'll see if this year was a fluke from Mr. White, or if he's really as good as advertised. Unfortunatley, I think he's as good as advertised, however... HOWEVER, he has yet to face a defense the likes of LSU's.
I heard someone talking about him on ESPN, they said he doesn't have much of an arm, thats the reason he's coming back. Because he wouldn't be able to make it in the NFL. I wish I could remember who it was talking about him but he didn't sound very impressive to me.
Not much of an arm? He throws a very good ball. On a rope or with a soft touch if needed. He is very acurate with the long-ball as well.
it wasn't Trev or Mark though. It was someone else, they were talking about the NFL draft, and said he had an average arm by NFL standards.
Jason missed half of the 2001 season due to a torn ACL. He then tore his second ACL in the second game of the season in 2002. He also received a red shirt due to a back injury his freshman year, in 1999. His freshman year and 2002 were the basis for a medical hardship allowing him to play one more year. To summarize, Jason "played" in 2000 as third-team quarterback. He was injured in the middle of 2001, injured in the second game of 2002, and played 2003. The NFL scouts are worried about his knees not his arm strength. Because Jason has had operations on both of his knees, they are worried about his durability in the NFL.
Oh Yeah, thats right, thats what I heard. Thanks Mr. Peabody for reminding me but I know someone said something about his arm too.
Mr. Peabody, can I borrow the Wayback Machine? I won't drive it too far. I just want to go back the day that Microsoft stock was first for sale on Nasdaq. And I'll fill the tank before I return it .
