He has been interviewed as saying he is committed to LSU, not a particular coach.

Per Rivals, he said jimbo called him today and they talked. He is totally committed to LSU and looking forward to coming in the fall. Jimbo didn't even try to get him to go to FSU.

i wonder that same thing...and what about the rest of the recruiting...with McKnight, Brooks, Toliver not signed. It's gonna be a big messed up situation.
But then again, I read somewhere, that Miles had some of the Control over the Offensive plays...not like when Saban was here, and Jimbo had total control. So maybe Miles can sway the recruits that are left, and keep the ones we have...cross your fingers.

Im sure in the recruiting process players were told that either or both Fisher and Pelini may get HC jobs. So I dont think it will be a problem. We may lose a recruit, but I dont see any major recruit leave because of Fisher. You come to LSU because of the name, not a coach like Fisher(no disrespect to him). Im sure Miles is selling them as we speak on a new, more explosive O. Just to make sure.

Like others have said, Lee stated in an interview that he was committed to LSU and not a particular coach.

Besides, with Jimbo having a well-documented wish list to be a head coach, the chances of him remaining in Baton Rouge for Lee's full 4 or 5 years on campus was around zero to begin with.

Lee had to know that. And all other recruits that Jimbo recruited knew that.

So, in short, I don't think it effects Lee at all.

Thanks for this post, I was getting all shook up about it...But you are right, Look at Miles, he came in with all this Talent, and except for one bad call againts Auburn...we'd be playing tonight againts OSU. So there are OC that are ready to come in and show off there Offensive scheme...with NFL talent at all positions. I think Miles could run the Wishbone, and get 9 wins....Lets hope whoever takes that position, its not to complex and our players pickup quick.
