I can not wait until the night of January 1, 2004. After this night, there will be only two 1 loss teams in the top 5. I've decided not to read or pay attention to anything more about the possible slpit national chamipnship. I don't think it is going out on a limb to say that Michigan will win that game against <insert team here>. How much did Michagan put up on that Ohio St defense, 35? I've seen <insert team name here> play twice this year and one thing is obvious, they do NOT play great defense. Michigan should be able to run up quite a lofty score on them. I am not very familiar with the defense of Michagan, however, as their offense gets most of the discussion. Any stat gurus care to do a comparison between <insert team name here> and Michagan?
I agree. Unless Michigan has a total shutdown I don't see USC beating them even if USC brings their 'A' game.
Off the top of my head, I know that Michigan ranks 6th in passing defense. However, Michigan will use those mammoth offensive linemen and Chris Perry to run over the Trojans and gain a huge T.O.P. edge...
Yeah passing game crucial in this matchup. Michigan is 6th against the pass, and USuCk is only 104 spots behind, at # 110. It's close but I give the nod to Michigan (ouch, that sarcasm bit so hard, that I'm bleeding). Michigan's rushing game much more proven than USuCk. Michigan destroyed Ohio State's #1 rated rush defense. This is a mismatch folks. Watch the game and enjoy as USuCk goes down in flames. There will be a special hour long trauma special on CBS that same night, which will focus on the fact that Trev Albert's head exploded immediatly following the Michigan/USuCk game. Should make for an exciting night.
Wish it were true ...... really really do ...... nice and tidy, neat and clean ...... no tarnish ...... except for a few #1 AP votes for Michigan ..... enjoy the "Michigan shuts Carroll up" fantasy
