I went to a restaurant called Cajun J's off of old jefferson this past saturday. This place serves up a killer plate of pork and sausage jambalaya.. and of course they're several different sides to choose from... highly recommended......

other than the jambalaya shoppe, give me a few sleepers around town that dish out a mean plate of jambalaya...

i hate, well dislike the jamb shoppe's jambalaya pretty badly. we order it for lunch at work for meetings sometimes and I prefer almost anything else. dude i work with relative's own it or something so we always get it. I told him it sucks.

ill check out the other joint. havent found good jamb anywhere really.

most of the good places are those who serve plate lunches i stumble upon unexpectedly but never twice in the same place.

Anytime St. John the Evangelist is selling jambalaya run to Prairieville and get you some. Made by men who know what it's supposed to taste like. I miss it big time.
