I can't help but feel great about where we are as a program. On the caption underneath the picture is talks about us being a contender for the NC...Six or seven years ago, I would have killed for an SEC west title and now we are premier SEC team. For me, it just doesn't seem that long ago when we consistently were playing second fiddle to Alabama and then Florida.... It's a great feeling..
This guy is will tear it up like RO did a few years back. LSU has the talent to win every single game on the schedule. JaMarcus will pickup right where he left off...... I was at the Cap One bowl. What he did in that 4th qtr was amazing to see........ I believe he was 15/16?? The guy remeinds me of RO so much, ups and downs early on in his career and (i assume) he'll have more ups now that he's been in the system for a few years......
If JaMarcus Russell plays next year how he played during the Capital One Bowl - wow. I think that might be a bit to much to hope for though. Right now, all I'm expecting & hoping for is CONSISTENCY from whoever becomes the starting QB. That would be enough to allow us to be a great team. We could be amazing if we get even more production than that out of our QB.
