Jackson or Detroit for Ole Miss

    Fixing to get reservation made for the Ole Miss game and was wondering if some of the locals or travel vets could tell me if I should stay in Jackson or Detroit Miss.

    where is "detroit" MS?

    Jackson is a 2 /12 hr drive from batesville and another 20 minutes from OX ford, you may as well stay on mars.

    I'd try for a room in tupelo, grenada, Southhaven, Sardis, Batesville, ...all of those are closer... hell memphis is closer than jackson.
