I noticed that Jack Hunt wasn't an Hon. Mention on the all SEC team. I thought that he at least would get that. Hunt might be my favorite player. This kid has guts of steel and his presence on defense cannot be understated. He had a stellar Sr. season. After the Damion James fiasco last year he came in and gave it his all. During the offseason he bulked up and improved his speed. It really made a difference this season. He won't be playing on Sundays but I gaurantee you that this kid will be a success at whatever he sets out to do. My hats off to him. I am proud of all our guys. Jack Hunt is one of those kids that you root for and feel a satisfaction when they succeed. Congradulations Jack Hunt. You're All-SEC to me!

A lot of these awards reward you in a way for the year before. Travis Daniels will be awarded next year if he has the season he had this year.
Of course, Vincent probably would have punked Jack, too. I agree, though, Jack Hunt is a great, self-less Tiger. He has really impressed me this year.
Agreed, I consider that the loss to Florida because of missing Jack Hunt. He's such a great player . It's ok .... Tigers are always humble, as well as coach Saban . I'm proud to be a Tiger fan. Deep in my mind, I don't think Jack Hunt's not sad, but he's really happy to see his team playing in National Championship. That's a great attitude, isn't it? And the win of NC Game will be a greatest award that he never had . GEAUX TIGERS !!!!
If Hunt can gain another 5-10 pounds and run somewhere around a 4.6 he should be able to catch on to someone's practice squad. He's just as big as Sammy Knight of the Saints/Dolphins and probably faster. He's most likely as fast as John Lynch. Some people have said he could go in the late rounds due to his mental grasp of the game, but I think he he'll get invited to someone's camp as a UDFA.
