I've seen Jamarcus lose his cool twice this season

Against Tennessee in the second half and today in the 4th quarter. I think the young man has made tremendous strides this year and I'm hopeful about the future with him as the Tiger QB but he almost had a Tennessee game today.

Granted the receivers (especially Bowe) dropped a number of passes that would have made his stats look a whole lot better but he still looked rattled in the 4th quarter.

I agree, but he had to be frustrated. 8 official drops and two more that could have been caught. Hell if they would have just caught the 8 easy one's he would have had 500 yards passing.

Bowe dropping passes has become a problem. I say Jamarcus continues to make strides. Let's see how he does against the Bulldogs and West VA!

I compared this game to the TN game earlier with my Dad. Good call.

Supposedly we have tremendous athletes at WR. When was the last time one made a great play when they jumped with a defender and came down with the ball?

It's apparent to me that JaMarcus is feeling some soarness from playing however many weeks straight. This was bound to happen after Katrina took away our bye week. JaMarcus's throws were floating wayyy more than usual & that was the reason behind 2 interceptions. The throws seemed to be behind the receivers on every route over 30 yards.

As many here have mentioned, the receivers have not made his life much easier this season.

the xman against north texas. I like Carter at receiver. I feel if Bowe doesnt take care of the drops we have plenty of players who could, and need a shot to step in.

    Forget stats
If these passes were complete first downs would have been achieved and drives would have continued rather then punts. One of the reason this game was close has to be attributed to the dropped passes. Rattled - not sure!

There is a noted lack of discipline and poor concentration in practice prior to these games per my sources. This is contributing to some drops on some of these scripted pass plays.

If Bowe can't hang on to the ball ... sit his ass and play someone else next series ... TEAM RULE!!!

Good coaching knows how to motivate ... and achieve results.
