1. I pray to God he is our starter and primary QB by the time we play Bama and hopefully sooner.

Bless Lee's heart, he's doing his best, but this is a real QB. My heart doesn't murmer when he goes back to pass like it always does with Lee.
  2. I have to stick with lee's experience right now. Remember, this is NSU we're playin.

  3. That's a very confident QB.

Lee is still throwing off his back foot even with no pressure.

Lee would make a solid backup.
  4. You're quickly impressed, and wrong as well. JL is our best QB.

  5. I agree but I just said this in the game day thread. Six quarters for Lee, and he's thrown the ball 32 times. Two drives for Mett, and the play selection is 7 passes, 1 run. How are we supposed to interpret this, other than a lack of confidence in Lee. I say this feeling like I've seen nothing wrong with Lee's performance so far this season.

  7. Agree you can only hide Lee so long
  8. correct, we're going to try to hide Lee and that isn't a formula for ultimate success

And you're right. Lee has done nothing really wrong. He just isn't going to do enough right in the biggest games, unless our D wins every game (not likely).

The difference is an actual passing attack vs a meek passing attack.
  9. Mettenberger is playing against a beaten tomato can. Ridiculous to make that call given the opponent.

  10. Again, just looking at the technique of both QBs. Both playing the same team. Evaluating the way both look, even in tonight's game, a game in which Lee has been pretty much perfect.

Mettenberger has a shot at the NFL. That's how good he looks.
