in N. Kentucky as I write this. ( Reason # 431 why I miss living in Louisiana ). I flew out of here Sat. afternoon and was picked up by my friend at the N.O. airport. We made it to the Hojo express Inn on Old Gentilly and got a serious buzz on. We took a cab to the dome Sunday a.m. and proceeded to do what a whole lot of long suffering LSU fans did. WE PASSED ONE HELL OF A GOOD TIME!! HATTS was great, it was all great. Then came the game. Sitting in the Dome, I still could not believe I was there watching LSU play for the title. I know there are a lot of people out there who felt the same overwelming pride and joy that words cannot express when Nick and the boys held up the trophy. Anyway, I think my point is, I had taken a weeks vacation for this and have to go back to work tomorrow and I just wish this feeling would last a long, long time. I miss Louisiana, the people and their hospitality and generosity. If you live there don't ever take it for granted because if you have to move you will miss it like a long lost friend. Thanks to everyone who posts on this board for making my feel a little closer to home.:helmet: :lsug:

Man, I feel your pain. I went down for a few games this fall and had great times. The people are great, the food is excellent and you can't beat the atmosphere.
