The Heisman stuff is over, now Eli has to find a way just turn this season around. Two poor game showings no matter how well the announcers said he played. The weird thing is that the last time Memphis beat an SEC team it was Tenn and Payton was running the team. Those Manning kids have a tough time with Memphis.

How about Ohio St winning by 3 at home to SDST . . . will they drop a few spaces or is this game a free pass?

The key word here is parody folks. Oh by the way, Auburn's running game is mediocre today. I do not see what is so impressive. Georgia Tech is putting up a good challenge.
Yeah I'm glad Ole Piss lost. Eli shouldn't of sold out Louisiana and LSU. But I like Matt Mauck better anyways. Their secondary and linebackers totally suck. I do not foresee any problems beating their asses.
Somewhere Maurice Clarett is laughing his ass off, cause Ohio State can barely hack it against SDSU without him.
Please football gods, don't let LSU fall victim against Arizona. I have total confidence in Nick to guide LSU to victory. What a difference a warmup game makes.

Due to the fact that OSU needed a 100 yard interception return in order to beat lowly SDSU by 3 will figure prominantly into OSU's free fall in the polls. IMHO

That is true LSUHotdog, we would've been better prepared last year for VT, had we played a warm up game. I think we will be fine against Arizona, but they will be up for the game so we can't sleep walk through this one.

Can someone tell me what is wrong with the SEC today? Now Tennessee is losing to Marshall, and Auburn is stinking it up.
I hope we play as focused as South Carolina

The SEC has looked pretty bad lately, but we are still a strong conference top to bottom . . . it's just that (and it was mentioned here before) there is more parity between conferences. The last few years it has seemed like the SEC was slow to start seasons, but very strong in ending them. A good judge for conference level is the results of the bowl games, and SEC does damn well in those.

I wonder if Eli wishes now that he was throwing to Clayton, Henderson & Associates.

    LOL.

Ranked teams are dropping like flies today, so far these ranked teams have lost:

    Purdue (20)
    Virginia (15)
    Penn St (25)
    NCST (11)

Nortre Dame (16) is losing in the 3rd 19-3
Auburn (19) is losing close to half, 10-0

Looks like an upset Saturday. Either way though, I don't think it will hurt the Tigers. Saban will have the team focused.
