As I sat around tonight watching the game. I realized something. Since 2003, every game I have not watched, or been to, LSU has lost. 2003 - Florida, I was working that day, missed the game, and couldnt listen on the radio. 2004 - Auburn, I was at work that day, Georgia I attended a wedding and couldnt see the game. The bowl game against iowa, I watched the entire thing, until the fourth quarter, and iowa came back and won! 2005 - tennessee, missed the game because i was helping my family recover after katrina, missed the sec championship because I had to work. 2006 - florida, missed the came because I was working at Raising Canes chicken fingers..and they wouldnt even let us listen to the game. Same thing for the Auburn Game. 2007 - you guessed it, Kentucky, I was working, at best buy, couldnt get the game on any tv their...(its best buy in florida need i remind you)...and they lost For the past 5 years, every game I have not watched or been to, lsu has lost. I am terribly sorry for failing as an LSU fan.
Don't feel bad, I sat in different seats than my normal seats for the 2003 Fla. game.. That had me pretty hacked off for a while. Needless to say I don't that anymore.
My fiance is not allowed back at another game. What's funny is that she doesn't want to go for fear of the team losing. She's a keeper!
Well i've flown my LSU flag every week we've won until last week against UK because it was so windy and we lost. Flew it again tonight and we won. Go figure.
I've got you covered. I've only seen LSU lose in person once since the end of the 02 season...that was the 10-9 (ronnie prude) Auburn game.
I've got one beter than that, If I stay in the room with the tv ,they LSU does terrible, but if I go in the kitchen and just look in after the play they start to play ball. My wife has a voodoo doll and she pulls it out when we start really screwing up, ( she pulled it out at halftime in Florida game and Auburn games) I tried it last weekend in the second half against Kentucky(she was out of town) and I probably didnt hold my mouth right, sorry Im the worst luck they can have, but I was there ,in the dome, when we won the Championship, I cried like a man.:helmet: :crystal:
heh, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks crazy stuff like that. I always have to sit in the same exact position as when we make a good play, I swear if I change up, something bad happens...last night I was like a statue in the 4th quarter except for when I got up to smoke on Auburn's touchdown drive.
LOL...well, seems like every time I watch a kickoff, they lose. Sure enough, I broke with tradition (my wife reminded me of this after the game), and watched the kickoff of the UK game..."dammit". Don.t worry guys, I give you my solemn word...It wont happen again! BTW, I,m not so sure its gonna be the Gaytors, I'm gonna prognosticate here and say UF loses one more game this year...and the team they will lose to...UGA! :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
