Playing and winning football games is all about getting respect. LSU wants respect for going 10 - 1 so far this season. Southern Cal is getting more thus far. I can't tell you why, The SEC is clearly better than the PAC-10. If LSU wins out and is ranked behind USC those calling for a playoff system will get to make their case more than ever.

Saturday's game was about respect too, both teams played their hearts out, you won we lost. Who gained more respect?

The Ole Miss defense gained the most, since they had none going in to the game. I watched in utter disbelief as they held time and time again. Everybody has to agree with that. LSU's defense proved that they were as good as expected, giving up just one touchdown.

You guys will no doubt find fault with all this and say you just played poorly on offense and we got all the breaks.

This game will be remembered as the one when Eli Manning tripped over a lineman on the deciding play and the nations leading kicker missed on two chances to tie the game.

It's all good for both programs, the nation got a lesson on the history of this game this week. The build up rivled that of the "Big Game" in Michigan.

Respect was earned by Ole Miss, by LSU, by the SEC and what football means in the south.

If you had brushed that one good tooth, Ole Miss would have won. But, noooooooooooooo! LOL, Go to HELL, Loser.
Eli for Heisman ---------------->He Choked just like I said he would
Nichols for Groza ... LOL ... go flip your burgers or panhandle change at the street corner, instead of panhandling here.

All right, you finally spelled one right. That "hooked on phonics" is really paying off.

Don't come over here an insult "Tigerland" just because you don't like the response of one person.

No insult, just a fact that reality escapes some, as it does on most fan boards.

    Go Saints

Ole Miss' defense was much more of a factor in the game than I expected it would be. I kept waiting for the adrenaline to wear off and let LSU's superior depth take over, but it never happened. A few here refuse to give your defense the credit it deserves for nearly pulling off the upset. I am not one of them. Now, go over to Woopig and warn them to keep their snouts shut this week or risk having theirpregame comments inserted rectally.

My comments were pretty much on target. No blowout, a game that could go either way depending on how the ball bounces. Unlike most, see "official projections" string.
