Maybe now, but then damn right it was. My wife didn't know the difference between offense or defense, but she could call every running play before the snap and tell you what hole they were running through. She did it many many times sitting in the stands watching.
Not surprising. Everyone, who watches knew exactly what play was coming next. There were a total of about 3 in the playbook.
He was very conservative. Could see the bubble screen coming a mile away but he was serving under two conservative HCs. I haven't seen the same predictability at FSU. Edited to say, Fisher wouldn't be my first choice but he is clearly a better gameday coach than Miles and he can recruit.
I agree, there are a lot of things about Jimbo I like and I think his offense has evolved, I just don't know how much. I still have bad memories of it here.
