Last season we lost 4 1st round draft picks so if this too is a rebuilding year then I say hell yea, rebuild every year. Remember, graduating seniors are replaced by new seniors.

CParso, you continue to be antagonistic. Stay on the side and don't respond unless you have something worthwhile saying.

I suppose you are right. It's not worthwhile to point out your ignorance.

    Extend.... Duh!!!!

We are # 2 (#1) in the nation. we are constantly bringing in monster recruits that are perfect for LSU's style of football. We have imho the best coordinators in the country on both sides of the ball. We have a good coach that consistantly has his team ready to go and blows away most opponents.

Yeah lets throw all of this away so that we can please the people who would rather bash Miles. lol

WestCoastTiger, CParso's posts are some of the most solid, informational ones I read on here. On the other hand, you have been predicting Miles' downfall about next year, for quite some time- see attached thread:

I'd guess that it must be troubling to you that he exceeded your prediction last year, it's not happening this year, and doesn't look like it will happen next year either.

You're allowed to post "Controversial" threads; however, members..........paying members, I might add, are also allowed to respond. They are entitled to their opinions, just as you are yours. :thumb:

    How about this...

Bo will have a choice of head coaching jobs next year. If Loyd Carr decides (UM Lets him) stick around for one more year, will Bo stick at LSU with hopes if Miles jumps he can take over LSU as HC?

If Bo leaves next year who is the new DC?

I have never known CParso's posts to be antagonistic. He says things exactly the way they are.

last years nfl losses were deceptive because they were mainly skill players. except for qb those are typically easist to replace with youth. my main concern for next year is CB and LB.

how much pt have the back ups at these positions gotten?

CB & LB are definitely my main concern as well. The backups have gotten some mop up duty, but not extensive & I just don't have a great feeling about them right now. That being said, they do have a whole year to develop before we're relying on them so they will continue to develop.

you'd think with such a dominant D that the backups would get in a few series early, but whadoiknow

my impression is that in nickel and dime packages that safeties are used--mccray and jones. anyone noticed backup CBs in those packages?
