You get to play host to the preseason national champs. I cant remember the last time we played a team of that status. It all ended when they found out they had to kick off to start the season. Listen, I hate AU and always have. I dislike everything about there program, coaches on down to the fans. The Bama and LSU jealousy there fans have always expressed. To me they are a wanna be who will never be living in the shadows of Bama. Dont tell me not to chastise them when they come to my town as I have been when visiting Jordan-Hare. While we wont damage there property, cuss with children present, throw stuff at them...etc, for the many that dont know, my group will let them know they are the scum of the SEC!

    Wow

Thats a lot of pent up out of the blue hatred for Auburn spewing out of you right there. I realize its the week of the game finally, but what has got you that riled up that you would just go off like that?

I have some real big hatred of Bama myself, but Ive never just snapped like that unless something sets me off. And I havent seen any Auburn posters over here flaming.

    WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!

I don't care how you guys act or what you guys do in BR, you couldn't pay me enough to go to BR to watch a football game. I will GLADLY stay at home to watch this game...

But the whole Auburn being jealous of lswho is what I can't figure out...oh well, just wishful thinking I guess.

Just a couple experiences at your place in the 90's. We are always portrayed by your folks as the "worse fans". Well Im telling you while we get that label from AU, I have seen it first hand while attending a few games at Jordan-Hare.

Its common knowledge that every team has its boneheads, but they dont usually represent the majority of the fans. I spent a wonderful 4 years at Auburn and I really didnt notice any bad fans on either side. The worst thing I can really remember is people flicking off the Florida buses when they drove through before the game. But lets be honest, we arent all usually on our best behavior when we are drinking either. :D

I sometimes would rather watch a game on my couch with full control of beer consumption, bathroom breaks, etc...but what you do you mean? You would rather stay in Birmingham than come get drunk in Baton Rouge, witness a game in one of the top 5 stadiums in America, and maybe take a trip to the sin city one night? How can you not wanna do that>?

I dont get that. I dont care where a game is- home or away- I want to be there. Have you ever even been? Well, nevermind, obviously not.

I love when I get back to BR. It only happens every couple of years. It is the greatest place to catch a game. Thursday and Friday in New O. Then Sat am making the trip with a hangover only to recover with more Crown. Great atmoshpere. To much fun.

It's just personal preference...I didn't ask you to understand it.
