    For those who asked for me to keep posting stuff, read below. From another board.


    Pretty close to what I just heard from Board member... Reply
    The word I got was that Coach Saban informed WH last night that he was staying at LSU -- Skip got the word also.
    WH, who does not want to lose his man, flew to BR this morning to continue discussions and things have moved back to neutral with Coach Saban.
    Coach Saban and Sexton have met with Bertman to discuss the possibility of moving the contract to $3 mil per year and a very healthy annuity package.
    Hope we end this soon!!!

    What's strange, though, is WH flying unsolicited to BR to try and take a meeting with Nick on Xmas Eve. If Nick took some time to think it over, decided the offer wasn't for him, why hop on a plane at 6 in the morning?

    Only thing I can think of is desperation since WH didn't want yet another negative story erupting over the team.

    hhmmm, saban makes a decision and has nothing to do with money then w.h. flies down here and offeres him more and now he wants more money from lsu? i don't buy it. there got to be more to it then the money thing.

    Honestly, where the hell are people getting this stuff? I mean seriously, do you honestly think that "the cousin of the butler" would overhear more than the news media? I mean lets be real here, some folks on a message board have more of a scoop than the news media who have professionals covering this? People should stop the conjecture, because if saban leaves you'll have raised your hopes just to have them crushed.

    Only the real thick skinned will be able to handle these comments from an "insider".



    Look, it didn't start out about money, but Mr. moneybags has now made it all about money.. now its just too damn much money to turn down....
