So my brother, who is an LSU alum, gave me LSU with 21 points for $100. In addition I took Texas with 8 points for $100.

What does everyone think? Am I gonna push, win $200, or lose $100?

He gave you 21 points? Did he get dropped on his head today or something?

LSU is not going to lose by 21 points. You can bet on it (and I guess you did!)

Texas and 8...not so sure about myself. I see USC by about 13.

Miami plays very, very well in bowl games. I think we win the game BUT Miami beating us by 22+ wouldn't really blow my mind. I know...sounds odd but I have seen weirder

I can not get a feel on any of those two games?
With JR out there is no telling what will happen. UM will probably try and put alot of pressure on Matt, so look for alot of QB draws.

As for as T vs USC, both are great on the off. side, but I think Texas has a better D. Then again USC always cranks it up a notch in big games. So who knows?

Hope you win the $200 though.:thumb:

I think that you are safe on the LSU game and I do hope that you are right on the Texas game. Good luck and I hope you win the money too.

LSU game is as close to a lock as u can get.

But I think it is a push, because USC will beat UT by 15 or more.

UT way too one dimensional on offense to match scores against USC.

It will get really ugly(ala OU last year), if UT falls down by 2 TDs early.

UT is one dimensional on offense???

you do know he is talking about the football team and not basketball don't you?

USC has a ****ty defense, Fresno St, Arizona St, and Notre Dame all "matched scores" with them. ANd you think Texas can't? They have just as much offensive firepower as USC and a much better defense.

Saying all of that, I think this game is a toss up, and I think it will be a great football game with lots of scoring.

    Take the over!

One dimensional in the fact that it all revolves around VY and his ability to run.

USC will shut down the run. Keep VY in the pocket and force VY to throw.

In case you have not noticed, VY can't throw worth a crap. You do not need to repond with his stats, because they were compiled against worse defenses than USC faced.

UT will not be able to match scores with USC.

All of the teams listed have one thing in common. They all have sophisticated passing schemes. UT does not.

    This is a rout.

UT has the highest scoring offense in the country. Focus strictly on VY, and the Trojans will get burned by the WRs or RBs.
Yeah, don't respond with stats, because they will reveal that VY is the most efficient passer in the country. I'd put him ahead of Paul Pinegar, Fresno St.'s QB that shredded SoCals sorry-ass defense.

This whole 'Vince Young can't pass' crap is only reiterated by people who didn't watch any football this year. Anyone can easily see that his passing has improved exponentially from last year.

USC has not faced a defense NEARLY this fast and physical all year. Despite what you say, the PAC-10 has the worst defenses of any major conference, hands down. In addition, do you realize that Gene Chizik, Auburns DC from last year, is now the DC for UT, right? Remember how spectacular his D's were at AU? USC hasn't seen a defense from the same planet as they will face next week.
