Is this a record for Coaches being fired in the NFL?

    This is crazy. Maybe it's a good thing that Saban left last year. I can't imagine what it would be like on here with all these head-coaching positions. Any of you think some high profile coaches in college will jump to the NFL.

    ESPN listed that there was 11 fired in 1996...... The most ever in one season...

    evidently this # isnt unusual. the avg # of openings (ok, not firings) is 6/yr
