Is there any word on Tim Pope's status?

Who'll fill that inside LB spot next year? I'm not sold on Ledoux. He looks a step slow and a little awkward. He may be another Dunson.

Pope can still return to the team, but he has a lot of work to do.

I am thinking Brady will move inside next year, and there are a few guys that could fill the outside spot.

Saban addressed the Pope issue at the Bash.

He said it's not too late for Pope to be a Tiger but he has a long road ahead of him.

He said he has to first, get his personal house in order, then his academics then do the things required of him on the team in the off season.

I got the impression that Saban thinks Pope is a talented player but that it's not very likely that he will be back.

I think Pope probably feels he has the skills to go to a lesser football program with less discipline and requirements and still make it into the NFL.
