....at least not this weekend? If that storm keeps shifting to the east we could see some pretty nasty weather. How would they reschedule this?
if it affects tenn travel in or out, my guess is they would ppd or play it in knoxville but i would be pissed if we had to play this game in billyland.
Something has to be done soon, if they are going to move the game to another location or play on say Sunday ect... they will have to say or do it real soon. I don't think we can allow another game not to be played, but with whats going on who knows. We might have to move this game and hope one day we see our team play at home. One other thing to remember....God Bless the people in the path of Rita.
Since it would be impossible to reschedule it, I think the most logical thing would be to move it to Tenn if it can't be played here. It still is too early to tell, but I have a feeling we will night be in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night. Although is sucks that we won't be able to go to this game, it may be better for the Tigers. If we are a better team than the hillbillies, then we may best served playing in dry weather, no matter where that game takes place.
Uhh, tiger stadium saturday night will likely have a few inches of rain still in it. You do have the ability to watch your local news station right?
I think it's too late to play this in Knoxville, so if necessary, I think the first option would be to delay the game a day in order to assess the damage. If it's bad, then the only options left would be to cancel the game entirely or delay the SEC CG and play it at the end of the season. I don't know if they would do the latter. This situation is different from 9/11. Back then conferences did different things. The SEC chose to play the games and the Big 12 did not. I don't think the Big 12 had as many big games scheduled that weekend like the SEC did however. This may be the only game in the SEC affected.
