i've got the feeling we are sitting on one of the best talents b/c Russel is still our starter... I think he's good, but I also think he's hit his peak and we're just using up RP's eligible years at this point. I can't believe he's still around actually. He's gotta be wondering if he made the right decision considering he may not even get the start next season.

Is Russel draft bound at the end of this one?

    Depends on who drafts him.

Look, today wasn't his best game, but he still didn't play too badly. He had no help at all from anyone.

We have about 30 problems that are way more hurtful to this team.

He threw 2 pics that shouldn't have been. Bowe couldn't hold on to the ball...
    Don't crucify JR for that.

I honestly hope he goes in the draft and does well in the NFL after this year. Time for a new leader on this offensive ship.

I don't think JR will be here next year but lets not worry about that until this
    year is over.

JR was not very good BUT he is our best QB, you Flynn fans got pretty quiet after the Miss St. Game.
Perilloux, Les Miles is to slow to put in him in the blowout games.
JR isnt the problem. Less Smiles is.
I have been saying it for months, but I get blasted by people on the board when I say it.

I believe that if Chevis Jackson does not fumble the punt, this would have been a different game. It totally drained our confidence and then the downward spiral began......

If he returns, yes. A chance at a MNC next year with the favorable home schedule and the chance to improve his draft stock should be huge factors in his return. I don't think he will pull a Brandon Bass and leave early only to be drafted in the late rounds. He still has half a season to improve his draft status if he wants to go. If he is gone, MF doesn't necessarily deserve to be the starter over RP based on one game. If LSU implodes to Tennessee and Arky like they did today, it is time for some change on the offensive side of the ball. Not a QB change but an OC change. Sorry for the rambling but bitching is therapeutic sometimes.
