Is LSU the only school to field a defense this year?

I took a moment to scan the stats for games yesterday and it's astounding. The #1 Ribbed Condoms gave up 420 yards and 31 points to #14 Nebraska. I don't care who you are, that's not great defense.

LSU has given up seven points and less than 140 yards per game. How can this not be impressive considering the pourous defenses that have been fielded this year?

In my opinion, LSU and Oklahoma each have a legitimate claim to be the best teams in the country. USC is playing with smoke and mirrors...

Defense wins championships but offense and putting points on the board impresses the media. Let everybody talk about how good USC is. If we play like this (or even remotely close to it) every game this year, LSU will be the last team standing when it is all said and done. :thumb:

USC gave up more yards than LSU gave up in the PAST 3 GAMES....

We do actually have a "sexy" offense (for a change) to go along with that effective (if not media "sexy") defense. Eventually, everyone will have to recognize that.
