Is it really a "good problem to have" with 3 talented QB's?

I think having 2 very talented QB's is good but 3 seems to be a problem. I think if Perrilloux does not get significant time this year he may be gone. I think his talent and ego are too much to stick around.

It's a good problem as far as depth but I'm not sure this is good.

    *sigh* Perrilloux isn't going anywhere...

    Let's do the math:

He plays out this year, and transfers, he then is eligable to play with his new school as a redshirt Junior

He stays here. Russell and Flynn are gone in 2 years. He is a redshirt Junior.

Why would he learn a completely new offense if it means he will get the same PT?

He can always go to a lesser school, but he had a chance to do that this summer and didn't, knowing exactly how the situation was going to play out.

    ask oklahoma what they think.

if flynn is the starter next year, rp still has 2 years to start. transfers, he loses one of those. would be pretty stupid for him at this juncture.

Have to agree with what others have said. RP is here to stay. He gets his shot whenever JR and MF leave, with some requisite competition from Jarrett Lee or any other QB LSU might sign this year.

Why the hell worry about if someone is going to transfer.

RP sounds like he has settled down ,and continues to on llearning and improving his game.I am comfortable that he is here to stay as he knows it is a matter of time he will get to play. He probably has learnt some patience, esp. when he has seen the loaded talent on the team. He will be a great one for LSU.

Looking a gift horse in the mouth and complaining about breath...

I can only refer you back to Alabama's experience in 2004...by mid-season we were staring out 3rd string QB, 3rd string RB, 2nd string FB...(I could go on).

Never, ever discount depth...having 3 QB's with the talent you have is a God-send...nothing to fret over.
