Normally we have basketball and baseball to keep us going until football season. Our women's teams look good but not much else to keep us busy until fall. With that in mind here's a little taste of football season.

    DATE/TIME TEAM / ALL-TIME / LAST MEETING TV
    THU 08/30 7 p.m. @ Mississippi State (64-33-3) (48-17, 2006) ESPN

    SAT 09/08 TBD Virginia Tech (00-01-0) (08-26, 2002)

    SAT 09/15 TBD Middle Tenn. St. (01-00-0) (30-14, 2001)

    SAT 09/22 TBD South Carolina (14-02-1) (33-07, 2003)

    SAT 09/29 TBD @ Tulane (66-22-7) (49-07, 2006) ESPN/2

    SAT 10/06 TBD Florida (22-28-3) (10-23, 2006)

    SAT 10/13 TBD @ Kentucky (38-15-1) (49-00, 2006)

    SAT 10/20 TBD Auburn (21-19-1) (03-07, 2006)

    SAT 10/27 OPEN

    SAT 11/03 TBD @ Alabama (22-43-5) (28-14, 2006)

    SAT 11/10 TBD Louisiana Tech (16-01-1) (49-10, 2003)

    SAT 11/17 TBD @ Ole Miss (54-37-4) (23-20, 2006)

    SAT 11/24 TBD* Arkansas (33-17-2) (31-26, 2006)

*Game will most likely be played on Friday 11/23 @ 1:30 p.m. on CBS.

The Virginia Tech, Florida, Auburn, and Alabama games will probably also be scheduled for national television. We may only have four night games in Tiger Stadium this year. :nope:

The Tulane game is in the Dome and LSU will receive more than 50% of the seats essentially making it a home game. That means we'll have five straight "local" games from 9/8/07 to 10/06/07. Let's hope we don't have a hurricane in September.

Games in red indicate that team played in a bowl game last season.

Nothing against our road opponents but this schedule looks much better than the last one. The home schedule looks great and we should set some new attendance records!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this. I have workers in my house so I'm stuck to my computer right now and figured this was better than surfing the web.
