Is ebay reliable?

    My friend just ordered 9 tickets from ebay. I just wanted to know if this was reliable, or are we gonna get shafted and get fakes.......anyone have experience with this? THANX

    You should have asked that question before he bought those tickets. That had to be a ton of money he shelled out. I have never had problems getting anything on ebay. But I have not bought tickets off ebay. That's too risky for me.

    Just curious - How much did he pay for NINE TICKETS. I'm guessing close to $9,000.

    I haven't ever bought or sold anything on ebay but I have heard about some rip offs and scams. You are probably OK if the seller has a good rating and few complaints.

    I didnt pay him the money for my ticket yet. But the guy does have a near perfect record on ebay.

    You should ok then. I wouldn't worry about it. Does he have a lot of history? How much feedback has he had? If it's only 10 times, then that isn't enough to go on. If it's 400, then you have no worries.

    He has over 200 feedbacks. The thing is, this deal sounds too good to be true, but im sure if he screws us over, theres gotta be a way to get him. We got 9 tickets for $1200, thats definately cheap......if it is a sham, Ill hunt him down and he'll pay.

    I bought my cotton bowl tix off ebay last year. No problems at all.

    200 feedbacks is good tho....how many negatives did he have?

    9 for $1200. Let's see, that's about $130 a ticket...man, I hope for your sake he's legitimate. Less than face value sounds too good to be true.
