Is "Death Valley" now simply known as "The Valley"?

I have seen this in several places recently. I wonder if this is what people will call it 10 years from now.

Hopefully they call it this 10 years from now:

Tiger Stadium: Home of Les Miles and the Ten-Straight National Championship LSU Tigers!!!

10 straight would sound nice... but that would never happen with USC around... by then they'll have amassed 13 "titles"--deserving or not!

People have also been calling it "Deaf Valley" for 50 years. That works for me.

    We be loud.

I'd always heard that "Deaf Valley" was actually the original nickname based on the noise level and that when a few reporters mistakenly referred to it as "Death Valley" that it stuck.

The only time I've seen Tiger Stadium referred to simply as "The Valley" is on signs during the game that read "Let the Valley shake" When the construction on the new west deck began they took down the sign Welcome To Death Valley. If I remember right that same phrase is on the North End Scoreboard in white writing across the upper half.
