At this point in time I would have to say the barn beats LSU soundly. We will get a measurement this week when we play MSU, but it certainly looks like AU may get us again. I hope I am wrong.

Well, it's hard to tell being that AU got beat by Ga. Tech and GA. Tech got totally butt ****ed by the other Tech. It's just hard to tell... :)

I'm quite certain that ALL of our enemies are very confident right now about their chances against LSU this year in football.

    VERY confident.

Auburn's defense looks better than our, and all likeliness - will be better than ours when we play them.

Offensively, who knows how far along they will be by the time we play them, but right now we are ahead of them in this category.

Yeah, but VT is going to win the Rose Bowl this year.

AU definitely has the chance to beat us this year, as does Alabama. The West is by no means ours as it was during the preseason.

As an Auburn fan, it is hard to tell where we stand. I don't see us losing again until at least Baton Rouge and that is a long time away. LSU will be improved by then or Miles will have signs in his yard.

Our young backfield is maturing. Our D is still solid. Looking forward to a hell of a game.

I will say this about AU. I watched the GT game and Cox looked a whole lot better than I expected. Sure, he had some critical picks and whatnot, but it was the dudes first collegiate game. If he throws like he did that game, and our D plays that soft zone bullchit, we will be hearing it bad from the Barners around here.

Despite the emotional hangover that many may feel from the loss to UT, LSU still remains the most talented and the favored team to beat in the West. The gators will expose Bama for what they are this weekend, leaving the game we all knew would decide it all in the West - Auburn versus LSU.

Auburn is a talented squad, but one lacking in senior leadership. I predict LSU will be favored by 4-6 points, and it will be an upset if Auburn wins.
