Perfect...was waiting for you to post this. Dont break your arm patting yourself on the back just yet. Saber rattling has not brought Iranians together at all. It has divided them greatly.

Ahmadinejad understands that many Iranians dont want to be isolated from the world, especially with a growing voice of young people and moderates. This speech is directly aimed at them. Just like his venom is geared towards his supreme leader and hard liners. The guy is playing politician with the proverbial two faced two step.

Elections are coming up in Iran and a popular moderate just so happen to declare his candidacy not 24 hours before this speech. How coincidental.

Of course while Ahmadinejad is making this speech thousands of revved up Iranians are chanting death to America and death to Israel. Nice.

Lets see what Iran considers "fundamental changes" before we go cheering about a nut jobs calculated speech.

These are all points I've made previously, you're learning!

Absolutely, but you have to admit, he did "unclinch his fist". So now Obama can offer him that hand . . . and let the diplomatic rhetoric begin!

Not really, you said saber rattling brought them together. I say it has driven them apart and its primarily due to the young people and moderates. They want to be part of the world, not isolated from it. Ahmadinejad is doing nothing but giving lip services to that faction of Iranian society. The true power though lies with the Ayatollah and his faction of radicals could give a shiat. Ultimately Ahmadinejad will be answering to them.

Lets see what underwear he puts on tomorrow before claiming he unclenched his fist. 72 hours ago their foreign minister was singing a different tune and 10 days ago he was demanding apologies.

Why don't we go talk to them so that they can take more American hostages maybe they will do us a favor and keep Obama.
    Jimmy Carter #2!

Let the younger generation experience the late 70's all over again with inflation and American hostages in Iran.
They want to kill Israelis and Americans and we want to talk to them.
