This game was 31-21 midway in the 3rd and the difference in the score was a blocked FG by Bama returned for a touchdown.

ESPN mysteriously lost all highlights of anything Ga Southern did right in that game (which included 2 big touchdowns from long distance against the vaunted Bama defense).

They only showed the blocked FG and a couple of touchdown plays by Bama.

The way the highlights were presented made it appear as though the game was a walk in the park and that Ga Southern was totally obliterated.

    It was something to behold.

I guess there's something to be said about this because a lot of the voters rely on the final score and game highlights to tell them how well a team did/didn't do. Along with them not including any Ga South. highlights, I don't recall any of them mentioning that the vaunted Alabama D gave up over 300 yards rushing to an FCS team.

I noticed it as well, I was following the game and Ga southern was hanging with them. You would like to think they would show them scoring to create drama and suspense on highlights but nope. Strange indeed.

    There was none of that.

At one point the person doing the highlights said something to the effect of Bama having no trouble scoring touchdown after touchdown.

It was quite bizarre. Or maybe not.

I'm sure it was just an honest oversight.

and let's not forget that Georgia Southern had a 94 yard kick return for a TD...ESPN seems to have forgotten that play also!

Yes, no doubt. I'm certain Saban had difficulty getting his team motivated against GA Southern - powerhouse as she is...

College Football fans need a "Fox News" remedy for the State-Controlled Sports Media Empire that is ESPN.

I hear Tim Brando has a show on CBS East during the day : )

Probably not strange at all--that is, if you have an agenda: that being propping & plumping the gumps at every opportunity to create the impression that the gumps are always all that they say they are!

    In other words: Propaganda!
