Good article. This guy from Rivals writes:

    He predicts LSU's season:

He predicts players that will emerge this season:

Richard Murphy is among his 5 impact newcomers:

    Pretty good read.

Last year, many I thought we would contend for the national title, but there were questions. We had to have several defensive linemen step up and they did, we needed a couple of linebackers to step up and they did. We had questions on the o-line and at running back due to the injuries and youth and unfortunately those questions did not resolve themselves quickly enough. There was a question about JR making correct decisions under pressure or losing his composure at the wrong time (which hurt us against Fla.). JR seemed to mature after the Fla. game and was a much better QB for the remainder of the season, IMO.

We look pretty set on defense this year. I think we can handle the end, we need to replace 2 safeties and we should be able to do that, but we'll suffer a little as replacing LaRon will be very hard, and early we will hurt a little.

On offense, the o-line still has to prove they can run block. Hopefully the new o-line coach (Stud) will help there. QB will be interesting, as whoever starts will not be proven. Flynn was great for one game against Miami, but based on what Miami did last year, they were not the quality opponent we thought they were. So, Flynn remains unproven against TOP competition, and Perrilloux even less so. That's a big question mark. Doucet is a proven winner for years, so he's money. LaFell has potential, but at the start of the season, he is not Bowe. We need another receiver to step up. The running game remains a question to me. Scott looked good but not exceptional until he disappeared. Keiland looked good late in the year, but not dominant. With his experience, he could get a lot better next year, and if we want to contend for the SEC and National titles, we have to get better at running the ball than we were last year. It's possible, but not guaranteed.

I think next year will be most interesting. The reports from spring camp can't come fast enough. I hope the new coaches interact well with the players and the chemistry is good. I hope we have some leaders who motivate the young guys to work hard to compete for titles. After suffering through the dark ages of Tiger football, it sure has been nice to emerge into the light again!

With Flynns ability to hit the deep pass LaFell should have an outstanding season.
