I think that is so crappy.

    1. USC
    2. OU
    3. UGA
    4. Florida
    5. LSU

This is absolutely ridiculous. We just won the national championship, we are going to return most of our starters, and we're #5. I'm not complaining, its better than nothing, but 5th. What do yall think?

What's even worse is we are freakin number THREE in the SEC

we just win the national championship, and we have back-to-back #1 recruiting classes, AND the majority of all our starters returning, and we get this shit.

I am sick of tired of the media giving us no respect

YES, i am complaining...in fact, i might even upgrade that to "bitching & moaning" status

    How quickly we've gone spoiled.

I guess 10-1 won't be good enough next year.

well at least the two SEC team they have ahead are two taht we plqay---so after we beat them we should be #2. I hope VT beats USC in BCA game because I am sure VT will have it year end nose dive. That'll set up an OU-LSU rematch

And that's the attitude we should take. LSU has just been elevated to the top 3 football progams in the nation. You should expect perfection now. It is what it is....Saban will have to deal with that.

After January 4th, things will never be the same regarding the LSU football program.

They must have assumed Mauck is leaving. And with no real experience at QB and Wideout, it's hard to place LSU any higher than that. Not sure about being #3 in the SEC tho. I think they are missing Texas in this list. Oh I forgot, Mack Brown is their coach.

Number 5 is fine for a pre-season poll. Like we all just witnessed, it only matters what you are ranked at the end.

BTW...I dont want an rematch with OU...I want the USuCk's FRONT & CENTER. Let them take their beating so they will know their claim to a split title is nothing more than BS. Nothing would be sweeter than destroying USC in a title game next year!

It doesn't matter who we beat in the Orange Bowl I'll be happy. We can take on Miami and show that we didnt win a NC because of "home field advantage." I could care less. How about a PAC10 AllStar team?!?

The defense could win the Georgia, Florida and Auburn games all by themselves. None of these teams are offensive juggernauts.

The offense will have to play within themselves and not make critical mistakes and LSU will win all 3 if that happens.

Remember people, the LSU defense only got better as the season progressed. It culiminated with one of the all time great defensive performances in college bowl history (along with OU in 2001 bowl game over Fla. State).

We have 3 of our 4 DBs back. That's a lot of leadership to depend on. The linebackers will be even better with another year under Vaughn's belt. We already know how awesome Lionel Turner is. I predict 1st or 2nd team all-american for him in his senior season.

Kirston Pittman is a force to be wreckoned with. Oliver is solid as well. Wroten will fill in nicely for Lavalais.

If you can believe it, this defense may be even better next year. It all depends on Jack Hunt's successor.
