This could be an awesome year imagine what the celebration would be like in New Orleans/the French Quarter if ...

LSU wins the NC in the Superdome on Jan 9th then one week later the Saints won NFC Championship in the Superdome :crystal:Saintslogo|lombardi|

I think my head would explode...

    New Orleans would be rocking!

I fantasize about the saints and tigers winning it all in the same year all the time. Has that ever happened with a state before?

They will make some pay O la with the Sugar, NC, and if the Saints host playoffs.

Can you throw in a Powerball winner for me before you wake up?

I think there is a good shot this dream could be realized much better chance than the powerball ;). The Saints traded blow for blow with the Packers who are probably the best team in the NFL and if LSU can win in Tuscaloosa they would definitely be in the NC game.

I like this pipe dream a whole lot more than the ones I got out of a pipe when I was a kid. :D

Maybe, maybe not. Take away Colston's fumble and the 14-point spot and it's a totally different game. Too damn early in the season for me to crown anyone anything just yet, although the near future does look bright.

It's definitely debatable but after what our defense did to the Bears, who I know have a terrible O-line, I am pretty damn impressed with the Packers offense and ours. During that game Rodgers looked like a taller, younger and stronger armed version of Brees with those back shoulder throws and pinpoint passes all over the field. Of course no one is better than Brees even a broken clock is right twice a day ;)

    This!

LSU will be there ... It's GOD'S WILL and this is clear to the prophets.

    Saints could do it ...

I see a Green Bay / Saints NFC Championship game coming in Jan 2012

If the Saints get there, would they have to play at Lambeau field?

If LSU is there as you say I can't see how the stars wouldn't align to give the Saints home field advantage for the playoffs either way it looks like the French Quarter is going to explode at the beginning of 2012 :thumb:
