I wasn't suprised at what Fla did last year in the tilte game but I'm thinking OSU wil be tougher this year. I'll be pulling for LSU but OSU has its head on straight this year and isn't believing everything it reads about itself. They may not be dynamic but they seem just plain tough and capable. They have the best offensive line in the country many say and plenty of experience. It ought to be a good one. Stating the obvious, if I were LSU I would go at them from the opening bell with the whirlwind juggernaut LSU can be and I wouldn't let up. Aren't you glad I'm telling you something you haven't thought of? Anyway, Buckeyes won't be looking to go home twice without a Sears trophy. Come on Tigers!

The Buckeyes just want to keep it close enough to get into an overtime situation!

I see no reason our personality changes just for this game. We'll start slow on offense and finish strong. We'll have more penalties than we should. I think our defense will shut them down though. It won't be close in the end, however. They're just too one dimensional on offense for them to pose that much of a threat.

I expect it to be a tough, physical game. They lost the title game last year and will bring their "A" game this year. They are somewhat of an underdog this year.

Ohio State is a good team, and I expect them to play hard and play well. In the end, I think we'll win.

    28-17 LSU!!!

    or something like that!!!

I'm not sure what you are really talking about, Ohio State is pretty balanced. They are about 60% run and 40% pass in normal games during the season( Michigan was in bad weather and their defense wasn't giving Michigan an inch so running the ball was their best option). But 60/40 is about as balanced as you get in NCAA football nowadays.

OSU is a good team; however, it has problems defending a spread offense. It will be a war in the trenches and that is where the game will be won.

They're one dimensional in the sense that the power of their team is the run. They may have a 60/40 split, but I fear not the pass. It may work out to be 60/40 because they'll be playing catch up all game.

Our O-line and D-line have to show up and perform well. The position players will do fine but they need the Lines to do their job.

OSU has a very good D-line and LB's, so I think they bring the pressure. The O-line will be critical for LSU and the play calling has to be good to counter the pressure up front. Crowton can get in a rut sometimes and call pass plays too much. I would like to see the running game set up nicely but the Oline has to do it's part. Against the OSU line and LB's I think it will be tough.

I really the the LSU O line is the weak point in the game. If the D-line is healthy I think they do a good job, but OSU has a very good running game and Wells is highly under rated at running the ball. I suspect they will run the ball and wear out the D-line and then spread it out and try to get a bad matchup on LB.

What bothers me about Ohio State is the "unknown". They have but only 3 games against top 20 competition--and none vs top 19 competition, so people will say that they didn't have a tough schedule, etc. and give us the "edge" because we're "battle tested" and "schedule strong"....

I just don't want to underestimate these guys and have it bite us in the butt.
