So the question becomes ... being ticketless, what's the best way to go about getting into the Sugar Bowl? A buddy of mine and I are already planning on heading to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl BCS championship game (He's an OU fan. I know. I know.) We don't have tix yet, but have plans in the works for getting some - even if we're running from scalper to scalper outside the stadium before the game. Of course, it would be sweet to win this contest: Nokia is giving away all-access passes for four to the BCS championship game in New Orleans, and they’re throwing in a Jeep 4X4 as well. I wouldn't mind tooling around in New Orleans before the BCS championship game in a brand new jeep. Not to count those chickens before they hatch BUT...the week before the game would be OH so much fun! My bro lives in Metairie and my sister lives in Austin (I'm in Houston). HER boyfriend is a rabid---and I do mean rabid---Oklahoma fan (he's a nice guy but we've had our fair share of arguments over which conference is better: Big 12 or SEC). Anyways, the two of them are already staying the week of the game and I'm coming if we get there. Best of all, the schmuck/future brother in law has already plunked down some serious cash to land his two tickets when my bro and I---using some below the radar *skillz* that only two N'Awlins natives could use in such a situation---are lining up 2 tix at what I'll tactfully call a "serious discount" My dad and the rest of my family will razz this poor guy for 3 weeks straight. He doesn't know what he's in store for...lolol!
