Guys, I have watched the Rose Bowl and checked out a lot of the sports media sites. Its seems that USC considers themselves the number one team in the nation. Well, when i am good and drunk, i consider myself to be a fish. However, whether or not i am a fish, I still need the air to breathe. Speaking of oxygen, I think that the West Coast is running real low on oxygen and high on hot CO2. Now I will tell yall that, with stone cold certainty, an LSU win, makes us the champs and i will even apply some of USC's logic to this. USC believes that since they are no. 1 in the final weeks AP poll, that alot of the AP will vote for them as they did then. Yes, there is that possibility. However, think of this situation. When the last AP came out, USC was in 1st place but LSU trailed by a few points and even had a number of 1st place votes. With an LSU win, using the USC brand of logic, we will still be number 1 with some of the voters. There is a good chance that the few votes OU got for 1st might even come our way. On the other side, there is the Coach's poll. Due to their agreement with the BCS, they have no choice but to unequivocably (sp?) vote LSU as the unanimous no. 1 champ. If you want to go with USC style moral victory, LSU has got them whipped with all of the Coaches and some of the AP. And in real life, we will be the BCS champs, therefore the Nat'l Champs.
RIGHT ON They think the computers are stupid to be picking the national champions, well if they were in our position they would no be saying that. They say that they are the people's choice and they won the people's championship, wow what a lame excuse. Since whoever wins the supar bowl will win the BCS and the ESPN coaches' poll, well guess what according to them we just one half of their half of the championship. Their "split chamionship" keep getting lamer and lamer. Nice post
