This is probably about some greedy lawyer who is getting money from misguided Mexican-Americans to make this lawsuit. He'll be the only one to ever see a dime.

Illegal Aliens have no "civil rights", they are international criminals.

If this guy owned a ranch in North Louisiana and people were tresspassing, killing cattle, littering, burglarizing, and vandalizing his property, the law would come out and protect him. What's wrong with the Border Patrol? If this guy's ranch is a well-known and popular conduit, then why aren't Border Patrol officers posted there all the friggin time?

My question is how did the judge not throw this out. The immigrants must have standing to file the suit. Some lawyer may be able to correct me, but I'm with you Red, how in the hell do they have the standing to file suit if they are not citizens?

I'm pretty sure all illegal immigrants have basic Constitutional Rights if they are within the jurisdiction of the Constitution ...free speech, due process, etc.

Correct, TB3, their legal standing will come from the same interpretation that will allow the Gitmo detainees to be tried in our legal system if they are brought here.

Likley the judge will supress the fact that they are illegal on grounds that it is discriminatory and could sway the jury.

well then how do they get around the fact that they are tresspassing on his land? Granted I don't know the facts, and he probably can't prove they were doing the other things, but if nothing else they were trespassing and I would assume we still have the right to protect our property. I just think its a bunch a bull when tax paying citizens who have done nothing wrong are having to defend themselves in court against people who have no right to be here to begin with. Just my opinion.
