We got the job done and won the SEC West, which is pretty good considering where we were after the UT game. We looked like **** today, but maybe it was another wake up call. I like the way the seniors on defense stepped up today to make some plays, especially Oliver. This game is as in the past as the UT game in my eyes. If we play like we did today against UGA then we'll get beat, but I expect a different group of Tigers to show up in Atlanta.

    Beat UGA!

Our offense, and Miles, looked clueless in the second half just like against Tennessee. Difference this game was that the defense was able to nut up and stop the Arkansas offense when it mattered.

JV had a terrible game, and we are now seeing exactly how much we miss Broussard now that Addai is injured.

Hopefully today was just a hiccup with the team looking ahead to Georgia...time will tell.

    I will take the win.

We've just won our 3rd ten win season in 5 years (8th ten win season in LSU history).

Just that alone is a huge accomplishment.

the optomistic view is the right one to take. letdowns against "overmatched" teams are common. Arkansas had been playing well and they do have some playmakers. they got some breaks and made it real close. i wouldnt be surprised if this will give LSU a better chance of beating UGA. this week of practice will have more of an edge because of this game. today's poor showing has not made me anymore concerned about the secgc.

good positive view and that is how i felt. I was just hoping that we could run off with this win and go to SECCG. I know that a different LSU team will go will be playing in ATL.

This team wins ugly, but they win! They just posted the third 10-win regular season in LSU football history. The other two were 1958 and 2003.

Anybody who has a bitch about this team or this coach has no touch with reality.
