...in spite of the fact that I'm NOT calling for Smoke's head...but come on, guys...even the most die-hard Smoke supporters out there have got to admit that getting runners picked off at second base just about every game shows a deficiency in coaching. Once in a while...OK, maybe. But EVERY game?
I know you're being a smartass, because according to you, Smoke walks on water. But there's a little more truth in what you say than even YOU realize. When I played ball in high school, if I got picked off at second base, I PAID for it, and believe me, it didn't happen again. For crying out loud, not getting picked off at second base, with everything happening right in front of you is FUNDAMENTAL. And fundamentals are COACHING.
It is irritating the hell out of me. I dont know the cause, I dont know the answer, all I know is I want it to stop.
Team has a lot of talent but lacks the fundamentals. The little things that championship teams do in their sleep are overlooked by this team repeadedly.
