i was on secfanatics.com and saw this post and enjoyed reading the answers: the scenerio is you are being recruited by 3 schools out of high school, which three schools would you want to be recruited by?why? (pretend lsu does not exsist) 1. oklahoma-they're awesome 2. tennessee-big crowds, dedicated fans, lots of tradition 3. michigan-great tradition, always good
A lot of my reasoning would depend upon what position I played: Running Back: Miami, Tennesee or Georgia O Line - Nebraska, Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, Georgia Wide Receiver - Tennessee or Miami Quarterback - anywhere I could play in a pro style offense, even Fresno State or LA Tech but Miami has a history of sending QBs to the NFL. Louisville and Marshall QBs have gone to the next level too. BYU has sent a lot of QBs to the NFL but I don't think I would adapt to the Morman lifestyle very well. D Line - Florida State, Georgia, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Miami Linebacker - Penn State used to be known as Linebacker U. D Back - Anywhere I would get the experience of covering the best wide receivers and get the best coaching to learn the position well enough to step up to the next level.
Three Schools: Miami- Great city, talented team Georgia- Athens is an unbelievable city and Georiga is a great team Boston College- A wild card for me, but I would love to play in the Northeast too....
I sure wouldn't want to miss out on Miami's notorious cruises featuring all the booze you can drink with topless girls along for the ride.
Bah, not Miami, they don't have any fans. I'd rather go to another school with crazy fans like ours. Maybe Texas A&M or Ohio State.
I would go to Miami, Oklahoma or Southern Cal. all have great traditions minus miami's thug years. and good coaches
